Description
Several of Concept’s specialist smoke systems use an inert gas to propel smoke fluid through a heat exchanger, generating high-quality artificial smoke or haze.
Concept offer a DMX-controlled proportional gas regulator, designed specifically for use with its renowned ViCount and Vulcan hazer range. In the lighting and effects industry, DMX (Digital Multiplex) is the standard protocol for remote control of lighting fixtures and special effects equipment, allowing seamless integration and real-time control from lighting desks or show control systems.
Using a DMX gas regulator enables precise and proportional control of smoke or haze output, with the ability to adjust intensity dynamically during a show. This allows for smooth transitions, repeatable effects, and full synchronisation with lighting cues — all from a central control system.
The DMX Gas Regulator is housed in a compact, robust stainless steel enclosure (~24 x 11 x 8 cm, ~1.8 kg) and is capable of controlling multiple smoke generators from a single controller, making it ideal for both fixed installations and mobile setups where reliability and precision are essential.
