Refillable Smoke Aerosol

The Refillable Smoke Aerosol is designed for operators who may struggle to access the standard pre-pressurised smoke canisters (due to shipping restrictions on pressurised aerosols).

They are compatible with any of Concept’s smoke generators that use smoke canisters. Supplied empty and fitted with a hand-removable top, the canister allows users to refill it with their preferred smoke formulation:

  • Smoke Fluid A for the Colt 4
  • Smoke Fluid B for the Colt 3
  • Smoke Oil 135 for the Artem Gun

The removable top is fitted with a Schrader valve, enabling the user to safely pressurise the canister using a suitable pump or airline. This enables complete flexibility in the field, allowing operators to refill and re-pressurise as required without specialist equipment. When used with the Artem Gun, a dip tube must be installed to ensure correct fluid delivery; for the Colt series, the canister is inverted during operation, so no dip tube is required.

The canister body is manufactured from a lacquered, one-piece aluminium construction, eliminating welded seams and minimising contamination risks while providing excellent structural integrity. Designed as a practical, durable consumable component, the refillable canister will typically provide 25+ operation cycles when handled and maintained with care.

One of the key advantages of the Refillable Smoke Aerosol is its non-pressurised shipping status. Because the canister is supplied empty and unpressurised, it qualifies as standard cargo, avoiding the restrictions and higher costs associated with transporting pre-pressurised aerosol canisters (classified as hazardous UN 1950 LTD QTY – aerosols, non-flammable). This makes it an ideal choice for international customers or those needing simpler logistics.
