Concept Engineering Ltd Acquires Longstanding North American Partner, Corona Integrated Technologies Inc.
Concept Engineering Ltd, a global leader in smoke generation technology, has announced the acquisition of Corona Integrated Technologies Inc., its exclusive North American distributor since the 1990s. The acquisition marks a significant strategic move for Concept, further strengthening its footprint in the United States and Canada.
The acquisition follows the planned retirement of Corona’s founder and owner, Ewout van Dishoeck, whose years of leadership helped build Corona into a respected name across a range of industries, including:
- Airflow visualisation
- Smoke detection and extraction testing
- Fire and evacuation training
- Leak testing
- Military and security training
- Wind tunnels and aviation
- Vapor barrier testing
As part of the acquisition, Johan Strijdom, Corona’s longstanding Sales Manager, will continue in his role under the Concept Engineering banner. Johan’s expertise and deep relationships with customers across North America will ensure continuity of service and support as Concept assumes direct operations.
