BA & PPV Symposium

Concept Smoke Systems attended the Fire Behaviour & Tactical Ventilation Symposium last week at West Midlands Fire Service Training Academy.  We would like to thank the organisers & sponsors for hosting a great event!

We had a lot of interest in our "Win a  Concept Colt 4" competition & we are pleased to announce the winner is Mike Porter, Lead Maritime Training Officer from Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue - congratulations Mike, we hope you enjoy the unit!

The event also saw the launch the new Concept Vulcan Smoke Generator - the most powerful mains powered oil based  smoke generator available today.  The Vulcan is available with a huge 2.8kw heat-exchanger and has an output 50% higher than the famous ViCount smoke generator.  The artificial smoke produced is the safest in its class and resistant to temperatures of up to 200 Degrees Celsius.  What is more the smoke is virtually unaffected in turbulent airflow conditions - making it the perfect tool for PPV training, Hot Fire training and large scale tests.

We look forward to the next one!
