Smoke Oil 180 is a premium White Mineral Oil – Pharmaceutical Grade formulation that meets the stringent purity requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia and FDA 178.3620(a) / 172.878. Developed for the most demanding thermal environments, it provides exceptional stability and performance in Concept’s high-output, oil-based smoke systems.

Unlike conventional fluids, Smoke Oil 180 maintains integrity at significantly elevated temperatures, offering thermal resistance in the region of 180–200°C before inverse layering would occur. This makes it the only practical choice on the market for hot fire training, hot smoke testing, and any scenario where smoke is exposed directly to radiant or convective heat that would instantaneously evaporate water-based formulations.

Capable of producing anything from a fine haze to a dense, long-duration smoke, Smoke Oil 180 delivers outstanding efficiency. Because the aerosol does not readily evaporate, only a fraction of the fluid volume is required to achieve comparable visibility to water-based smokes, while remaining visible for extended periods, often hours in still air.

The formulation generates a class-leading particle size of approximately 0.2 µm CMD, ensuring a clean, stable and highly controllable effect even under extreme thermal loading.
